They are group that tends to fly under the public's radar.Although they came from grassroots backgrounds,they now hide among some of the wealthiest groups in China.Though many of them are not medical experts,they do,however,control nearly 80%of China's private medical market.The Putian hospital chain's recent spat with Baidu has taken this secretive group and thrust it into the center of public discussion,while its vast sources of wealth have received unprecedented attention from those outside the medical industry.Sticking together for warmth,this recent business dispute with Baidu is about to become a duel for honor rather than for money.
