摘要
爱尔兰都柏林大学人工湿地研究小组首次提出了铝污泥人工湿地的概念,将给水厂的脱水铝污泥用作人工湿地填料,以强化其对污水的处理效果,尤其是对高浓度含磷污(废)水的处理。经过近10年的探索研究,对铝污泥人工湿地的机理、处理效果以及湿地结构、运行方式等都进行了广泛深入的系列研究和分析评价。铝污泥被证明是一种优良的湿地填料;而且铝污泥高效的磷吸附能力可以回收污水中的磷资源,使用后(饱和后)的铝污泥可进行磷回收或用作肥料。这一"以废治废"的概念符合可持续发展思路,具有良好的经济和环境效益。
A novel concept of "alum sludge-based CW" has been firstly proposed by the CW re- search group in University College Dublin (Ireland). The dewatered alum sludge from waterworks was used as packing of constructed wetland to enhance the sewage treatment effect, especially in treating high- concentration phosphorus-containing wastewater. Extensive studies on the mechanisms, performance, configuration and operational strategies of the alum sludge-based CW system in the last ten years demon- strated that the alum sludge is a good wetland substrate, and it can effectively recover phosphorus from wastewater. Moreover, phosphorus-saturated alum sludge from CW can be utilized for phosphorus recov- ery or as fertilizer directly. Using "waste" for wastewater treatment is a "win-win" technique, which contributes to sustainable development and has substantial benefits for both economy and environment.
