摘要
委婉语使用范围极广,牵涉到社会以及个人生活的诸多方面,因而成为了英语中十分令人瞩目的语言现象之一。本文概述了委婉语的源流,阐述了英语委婉语应用的基本原则,并重点提出了英语委婉语的翻译策略。
The use of euphemism, involving many aspects of social and personal life, and become one of the language phenomenon in English is very impressive. This article summarizes the origin and development of euphemism, the basic principles of the application of English euphemism, and put forward the translation strategy of English euphemism.
