A Research Review on the Thoughts of Socialism

社会主义是中国近代最主要的社会思潮之一。与此相一致,社会主义研究是20世纪90年代以来尤其是新世纪以来近代中国思想史研究的一项重要内容。学术界梳理了传统思想资源中社会主义因素以及社会主义与其他社会思潮之间的关系,对中国历史上三次社会主义思潮高潮,特别是五四时期的社会主义思潮进行了较为深入的探讨,以前少有研究的三四十年代知识界中兴起的社会主义思潮也开始有越来越多的学者予以涉及,并取得了一定成果。同时,除基尔特社会主义继续得到学术界的关注外,面对世界范围内民主社会主义思潮的兴起,中国近代史上的民主社会主义、国家社会主义等其他非主流(或非科学社会主义)的社会主义流派也开始成为学术界的研究课题。

Socialism was one of the leading thoughts in the modern China. Accordingly, studies on socialism have been one of the important considerations in the intellectual history of modern China since the 1920s, especially since the new century. The academia has studied the factors of socialism from its traditional thoughts, as well as the relationships between socialism and the other thoughts, and the three climaxes of the socialism thoughts. In particular, the socialism thoughts in the May Fourth Period have been explored in depth, while greater concerns have arisen with many achievements over the socialism thoughts which were sprung up in the 1930s and 1940s. Meanwhile, apart from the continuous concern over the Guild socialism, with the worldwide emergence of democratic socialism thoughts, increasingly research focuses also involve democratic socialism, state socialism, and other non-mainstream socialism schools （also called as the non-scientific socialism）.
