国学如何走向现代化是国学研究最迫切的命题。为使国学现代化推进得更为坚实,需要研究以下几方面问题:一是明确以国学为本位,以避免现代化过程中国学被边缘化。本位是指主体、基础和前提,并不导向保守;二是提升现代化内涵,将国学的有益因素糅合其中,为国学现代化争取到更大发言权;三是要解决国学现代化研究中的突出问题,并进一步拓展研究思路。当前应该以更宽的视野、更大的自信认识国学对于现代化的价值和意义。

It is a most urgent task to modernize the research of Chinese cultural classics. In order to advance firmly the modernization of Chinese cultural classics, some questions should be considered. Firstly, to define the standard of Chinese cultural classics and avoid being marginalized. Standard entails the subject, the basis and the premise, while not leading to conservatism. Secondly, to enrich the meaning of modernization and blend the beneficial factors of Chinese cultural classics in order to win more say for the modernization of Chinese cultural classics. Thirdly, to solve outstanding issues in the research of the modernization of Chinese cultural classics in order to further expand ideas. We should understand the value and significance of Chinese eultural classics with a broader view and more confidence.
