The All.China Women＇s Federation （ACWF） held an awards ceremony, to recognize the country＇s 100 ＂most heautifui＂ families, in the Great Hall of the People, in Beijing, on May 14, which was the day before the hlternational Day of Families： Shen Yueyue, Vice-Chairperson o＇f the NPC＇（National Peopleis Congress） Standing Conimittee and President o（the ACWF, said families, across the country, should attach great importance to building a harmonious atmosphere within the family unit. The families, she added, should enhance family education and inherit moral virtues and good family traditions.
5月15日国际家庭日前夕，全国妇联在北京举行全国“最美家庭”揭晓仪式，100户家庭荣登全国“最美家庭”光荣榜。全国人大常委会副委员长、全国妇联主席沈跃跃表示，希望广大家庭注重家庭建设、加强家庭教育、传承良好家风，用好家风支撑起好的社会风气。
