哈萨克斯坦独立之后,美国对哈展开了持续的公共外交。作为美国全球公共外交系统的有机组成部分,美国政府和非政府组织等密切合作,同时对哈萨克斯坦的精英给予了特别关注。美国在哈萨克斯坦的许多公共外交项目本质上是在向哈"输出民主"。对美国在哈的公共外交需客观评价,既要认识到它在哈国内的积极作用及其成效,又要看到其中存在的一些问题。对美国对哈公共外交的得失应予以研究。

Since independence of Kazakhstan,the United States pursued a continuous public diplomacy to Kazakhstan.American government cooperated with NGO to give special attention to Kazakhstan' s elite.The aim of many public diplomacy projects of the United States in Kazakhstan is to promote ' democracy'.Positive role of American public diplomacy in Kazakhstan should be evaluated objectively and at same time some problems of that policy should be checked.
