Using the Producing and Preserving Animal Specimen to Enhance the Students' Innovation Ability

动物标本的制作和保存包括标本的采集、制作、入库、陈列、管理、保养和修复等过程。它在动物学教学和学生综合素质培养上具有重要作用,然而目前还只把注意力集中在标本的制作和已制作完好的标本上。标本制作和保存的其他过程,如标本采集、入库、陈列、管理、保养和修复等的作用往往被忽略。本文详细论述动物标本制作和保存的各个过程在学生的专业知识和创新能力上的促进作用,为高校利用动物标本的制作和保存这一途径培养学生的创新能力提供参考。

The producing and preserving animal specimen include several processes, such as collection, making, warehousing, exhibition, management, care and renovation, etc. It can be used in the zoology teaching and to enhance the students＇ comprehensive quality. However, attentions always have been paid on the making and using processes of animal specimen. Effects of other processes, such as collection, exhibition and care have always been neglected. In this paper, the authors discuss the positive effects of all processes composed the producing and preserving animal specimen. We argue that they can play a significant role in enhancing the students＇ ability in innovative thinking and thus should not be overlooked.
