摘要
本文采用履历研究法,对我国1166所普通本科高等学校的7796位校级领导的简历进行整理分析研究。研究发现:我国高校领导中女性数量较少,且存在女性领导担任正职少、副职多的纵向隔离现象,以及女性担任党委领导多、行政领导少的横向隔离现象。此外,女性自身教育与学术背景偏低、国际化经历不足等问题,制约了女性领导的发展。我国的高校领导研究还未将性别因素作为一个主要的分析范畴和内容来对待,这一领域还需要更多的学术与政策关注。
Using Curriculum Vitae research method,this paper studies the characteristics of female leaders of Chinese universities.By studying 7796 top-level university leaders at 1166 Chinese universities,this paper finds that,there are not only insufficient women leaders in higher education institutions,but also segregation at both vertical and horizontal levels.The relatively insufficient educational and academic background and international experience are factors that restrict women from gaining leadership in higher education.The paper argues that gender differences deserve more academic and policy attention in the realm of university leadership.
