It＇s beneficial to understand the connotation of teaching skills from the perspectives ofpre-service teacher education. The definition teaching skills should be considered from the characteris-tics of pre-service teachers and consist of multilevel, trainable, demonstrable overt behaviors and thecognitive process involved. Its scope and level can be illustrated by a chart but the specification ofeach skill is to be further explored in practice.
