Biopolitics

"生命政治"是一种维护人口生命安全和幸福的政治技术。作为一种国家治理艺术,它的开端可追溯到16世纪。17世纪的国家理性是其第一种实践形式。进入18世纪后,随着人口问题的发现,治理最终变成了对人口的治理,政治也由此成为了生命政治。本文梳理了生命政治形成的历史,并与阿甘本的相关理论进行了对比。

Biopolitics can be seen as a political technique which focuses on the security and happiness of the national population.Beginning in the 16 th century,this kind of art of governance developed its first practice form in the 17 th century:raison d'Etat.With the discovery of the meaning of population in the following century,the essential assignment of the country lay then in the government of population,and politics thus turned into biopolitics.This article attempts to explore the history of biopolitics and also to compare this concept with the related theory of Agamben.
