Objective:To observe the eitect of stimulating at Zusanli acupoint by electroacupunctureon microcirculation of various organs of model rats of gastrointestinal disorders (GID), study the regulating effects of electroacupuncture on gastrointestinal function of model rats of GID and compare and analyze the differences of the effects of electroacupuncture on microcirculation of rats' stomach, intestine, liver and brain,so as to explore the rules of acupoint effects on internal organs. Methods:The Zusanli acupoint of model rats of GID was stimulated by electroacupuncture instrument. The laser doppler flowmetry was used to monitor the superficial microcirculation of stomach, duodenum, liver, brain and other organs synchronously. The data get from the experiment was statistically analyzed. Results:Electroacupuncture on Zusanli acupoint of model rats of GID could significantly improve the condition of superficial microcirculation of stomach and intestine. It could increase the microcirculation blood flow and maintain it at a high level when the acupuncture was stopped. The effect on microcirculation of liver and brain was .not statistically significant. Conclusion:Electroacupuncture on Zusanli can effectively regulate the gastric and intestinal microcirculation of model of rats of GID. It had a positive curative effect on gastrointestinal disorders. The effect on the microcirculation blood flow of stomach and intestine showed relative specificity.
