The construction of road project changed patterns of surrounding ecological environment, resulted in the fragmentation of ecosystem. And the impact of a road project onecosystemcan be estimated quantitatively, which has important referential value for road design and planning.Road selection directly determines the size of the degree of impact on the ecosystem,so that road scheme comparison analysis for biodiversity conservation, which has important reference value.Chosing a section of Linhe-Ceke railway from Swan Lake to Ejinaasa case study, based on ecosystem rarity and biomass loss, the loss of ecosystems caused byalternative routes were measured and comparedtheseroutes quantitatively. The results showed that the loss of ecosystems caused byavoidance Tugai forests reservescheme was less than other three schemes. Therefore,it was considered as the optimal solution.
