Treating infantile enuresis from kidney and spleen by professor JI Qingshan

纪青山教授认为,遗尿的主要病因为肾气不足,脾虚气陷所致,以补脾益肾为治疗原则。治疗时,针刺取穴少,深度浅,手法轻,穴位采用远近结合为配伍,取肾俞、脾俞、膀胱俞、关元、中极、足三里等。对于遗尿患者,以脾肾同治为依据。

Professor Ji Qingshan considers that the main cause of infantile enuresis is kidney and spleen deficiency. The prin- ciple of treatment is to nourish the spleen and the kidney. During the treatment, Professor Ji Qingshan selected less acupunc- ture points, inserted the needles to a shallow level in the muscle and used slight strength when inserting the needles. He combined the use of distant and local points together. Acpoints such as Shenshu, Pishu, Pangguangshu, Guanyuan, Zhongji and Zusanli were selected. Patients received obvious symptomatic improvement after treatment. Based on the nourishing spleen kidney principle, we found that patients with urinary incontinence obtained satisfying effects in the treatment.
