摘要
竞争外部科研经费已成为高校理工科教师学术工作的重要部分。基于对两所高校机械学科16名教师的访谈,本文揭示了教师对来自于政府的经费和来自于企业的经费所具有的市场性、象征性和社会性意义的理解,并从对待知识的态度、对师生关系的体认以及经费竞争策略三方面阐述了竞争科研经费这一行为对学术价值观的影响。科研经费竞争正在塑造新一代学术资本家。
Competition in research funds has become a significant part of sci-tech teachers＇ academic work in higher institutes. Based on the interviews with 16 faculty members in the mechanical science and engi- neering in two universities, this study reveals the way in which faculty make market, symbolic and so- cial meaning of the research funds from governmental and industrial sources. Furthermore, this study explains how the competition in research funds influences the academic values of faculty focusing on their attitudes to knowledge, their recognition of the relationship with students and their competition strategies. Findings indicate that the competition for research funds is now making academic capital- ists.
