A New Exploration of Research Paradigm of Technology Ethics——Methodology and Its Value of Dewey's Technology Ethics

杜威生活的时代,技术的发展加速了美国社会的巨大变革。面对传统伦理学无法解决的技术伦理难题,杜威提出了融合道德理论中三种不同的要素,在自然满足与道义之善、技术的功能性与意义性的共存中探寻技术伦理的可能性。这种将技术伦理之术与德相结合的方式,转变了传统的将技术的手段善与目的善、功能性与意义性相分离的二元格局,有助于当代人对技术生产的价值定位及对技术产品的道德交换与伦理享用。

In Dewey＇s time, the development of technology accelerated great changes of American society. Encountering the issues of technological ethics which cannot be solved by traditional ethics, Dewey constructed a new paradigm of technology ethic based on the interactive co-existence between natural satisfying and moral good. This new way of integrating the instrumental ways and moral ends has transformed the dichotomous pattern caused by traditional ethics between means and ends, function and meaning. This new paradigm will contribute to the value orientation of technology production, and promote the ethical enjoyment and moral exchange in terms of technology products.
