在许多发展中国家吸烟人口呈不断增长的趋势。吸烟是心血管系统、呼吸系统、消化系统、生殖系统、内分泌腺等系统疾病的患病危险因素。吸烟与COPD、哮喘、消化性溃疡等疾病有关，是其发生、发展的重要环境因素之一。本综述旨在进一步加强人们对烟草危害的认识，重申戒烟的重要性和必要性。

Smoking has been increasing in many developing countries. Smoking is a risk factor for several disease, such as cardiovascular system, respiratory system, digestive system, reproductive system, endocrine function etc. Smoking is one of the most important factors in the pathogenesis of COPD, Athmas and Peptic ulcer. In this review,our purpose is to reinforce the public＇s awareness of the dangers of smoking,and affirm the importance and necessity of smoking cessation.
