A Research of Locative Terms' Unmarked Transferred-Designation of Appellation Nouns in Zen Literature

禅籍方所词语转指称谓的现象大量存在,具体可分为命名性方所词语转指称谓和非命名性方所词语转指称谓两类。方所词语转指称谓的现象符合转喻的邻近性原则、认知突显原则以及语言的经济原则。这些称谓词语折射出唐宋时期丛林制度及寺院结构,同时也体现了禅宗对传统文化的继承。

The phenomena of locative terms’unmarked transferred-designation appellation nouns abound in Zen literature. They can be divided into naming locative terms and non-naming ones. These phenomena accord with the proximity principle of the metonymy, cognitive highlight principle,and concise principle of the language. These appellations reflected the Zen system and temple structure during the Tang and Song dynasties, and also the inheri？tance of Chinese traditional culture.
