王孟英为我国清代著名医家。清末民初各医家对王孟英的评价甚高,他不但天姿聪颖,勤奋好学,其才、学、识均超群,勤于临证,著述颇丰,医术精湛,胆热肠坚,其才其学久为后世敬仰,以成有清一代医中之伟人。

WANG Meng-ying was one celebrated Traditional Chinese Medicine (T.C.M) expert,enjoying the high reputation among other experts during the end of the Qing dynasty. Not only he was talented and diligent on aspects of capability, knowledge and consciousness, but also he was eager to have practices on clinical experiments. Thus, owning much respect from the followers, WANG became a T.C.M pioneer in the Qing dynasty, with his huge amount of writings, excellent medical skills and his enthusiasm on patients.
