上海区级公共图书馆功能建设的几点思考

在国际大都市建设背景下,上海区级公共图书馆不应自缚于传统的服务功能和既定的行政等级区划,而应"以读者为中心",做最好的图书馆。既可以"大而强",也可以"小而精"。关键要适应时代和区域发展,打造差异化竞争优势,为读者提供有速度、有深度、有精度、有温度的服务,和读者一起"创享"美好生活,推进社会发展。

Under the backgroud of construction of international metropolis, Shanghai district public libraries should not be restricted by the traditional and established administrative division, but become ＂reader-centered＂ to develop into the best library. Both ＂big and powerful＂ and ＂small and specialized＂ pattens are ok. The key is to accommodate the needs of the time and region, to foster different competitive advantages and to provide fast, deep, accurate and considerate service for readers. It will then enjoy ＂good life＂ with readers together and promote the society development.
