The Flame Retardancy of HIPS/DBDPO/OMMT Composites

摘要 采用熔融插层制备HIPS/OMMT(高抗冲聚苯乙烯/有机蒙脱土)复合材料和十溴联苯醚(DBDPO)体系阻燃HIPS/OMMT复合材料。透射电镜研究表明,HIPS/OMMT复合材料形成了插层结构;锥形量热仪研究表明,复合材料热释放速率(HRR)及其峰值(PHRR)、质量损失速率(MLR)和生烟速率(SPR)均降低,阻燃性和抑烟性提高;与HIPS/OMMT相比,HIPS/DBDPO/OMMT的HRR和PHRR降低,极限氧指数(LOI)增加,DBDPO-Sb2O3会导致SPR增加。 Both HIPS/OMMT and HIPS/DBDPO/OMMT were prepared by melting method. The TEM analysis shows that intercalation structure is gotten between HIPS molecular chain and OMMT layers. The cone calorimeter results show that the HRR, PHRR,MLR and SPR of HIPS/OMMT composites are lower than those of pure HIPS. The flame retardancy and smoke suppression are improved. Compared to HIPS/OMMT composites, the HRR and PHRR are further reduced, and the LOI is raised for HIPS/ DBDPO/OMMT composites. Meanwhile the SPR of the composites increases due to the addition of DBDPO-Sb2O3.
