多元文化视角下高校英语教育中民族文化传承的SWOT分析

A SWOT Analysis of National Culture Inheritance for University English Education: Under the View of Multicultural Theory

在全球化语境下,多元文化给语言教学带来了机遇和挑战,学术界逐渐关注大学英语多元文化教育的作用,但忽视了其民族文化传承的功能。针对目前民族院校和民族地区高校大学英语教学中民族文化要素缺失的现状,研究者进行了大学英语教育中民族文化传承的SWOT分析,认为加强大学英语多元文化教育是实现民族文化传承的有效路径,具体包括增强民族文化认同,改革大学英语教学内容和考核机制、提高师生跨文化交际能力和优化外语教育政策等措施。

Multivariate of culture has brought opportunities and challenges for language teaching in the context of globalization. Academia gradually pays attention to the role of muhicultural education of college English, but neglected the function of the national cultural heritage, in view of the present status of national cultural elements missing in English teaching in ethnie colleges and universities, A SWOT analysis is conducted , it is believed that the muhieultural is essential to realize the transmission of ethnic culture in college Engl;sh education, including strengthening the national cultural identity, the reform of college English teaching content and assessment mechanism, improvement of the ability of cross-cultural communication between teachers and students, and optimization of the foreign language education policy and other measures.
