Spatial Criticism in Contemporary China ——With Wang Anyi's Writing of Shanghai as an Example

作为中国最大的城市之一,上海已经经历了并且还在经历着激烈的空间重组。城市空间成为全球资本与各种力量角逐博弈的对象,空间性问题正是在这样一种情境下充分凸显了出来。上海作家王安忆自身的成长经历与这个城市的变化息息相关,她对于城市经验的敏感以及对于整个城市精神史的反思,凝结成为复杂的小说文本。其作品《长恨歌》与《富萍》指向着上海空间的独特性,为进一步的空间批判提供了基础。

As one of the largest cities in ChinaShanghai has been experiencing drastic space reconstruction. The urban space has been the target of global capital and related powers,against which space problemhas emerged. Wang Anyi, a female writer in Shanghai, has experiencedthe formation with this city reconstruction. Her senses and experience reflect the spirit of the city immersed into her works. And her works, Chang Henge and Fu Ping, depict the characteristics of Shanghai offering the basis for criticism.
