摘要
2013年12月大学英语四、六级考试开始采用段落汉译英题型,调整后的翻译题难度系数明显增加,内容涉及中国历史、文化、经济、社会发展等。而现行大学英语教材内容的选材多来自国外文学作品,少有涉及到中国文化、历史和社会的作品,教材配置的练习也主要以单句翻译为主。因此英语教师不能一味地彷徨和等待,而应研究试题特征,发掘现有教材,总结行之有效的指导策略。
Chinese-English Paragraph Translation has been adopted as a question type in CET 4 and CET6 since December, 2013 in China. The difficulty level of the test increased significandy after the adjustment, especially for the new form of translation, which covers Chinese history, culture, economy, social development, etc. Current College English teaching materials originate mainly from foreign literature with only a few from works of Chinese culture, history and society. In addition, the coursebook exercises only require sentence translation. Instead of wandering and waiting, English teaehers should research on features of tests, explore the potential of existing teaching materials, and summarizes the effective guidance strategy to cope with the change in the tests.
