大熊猫(Ailuropoda melanoleuca)在湖北宜昌展出期间的饲养管理

The Husbandry of the Giant Panda During the Exhibition in Yichang City,Hubei Province

大熊猫"希望"在湖北宜昌儿童公园动物园的引进,在宜昌地区的生活习性、圈养条件、活动规律、食性等做了较为系统的观察,并总结了符合该地区气候特点下的大熊猫饲养管理规律和常见疾病及预防等内容,为其他大熊猫饲养机构提供基础资料和理论指导。

A 9 -year old giant panda ＂Xi Wang＂ was introduced into Yichang Children,s Park Zoo. We documented the life habit, various conditions of captive rearing, activity rhythm, and diet. Then we summarized the husbandry rules and prevention of common diseases suitable to the cli- matic feature of Yichang. This could provide basic information and theoretical guide for other facili- ties that raise pandas.
