Exploration of Water Environmental Protection in the Urban Area of Qujing

曲靖市中心城区麒麟区是珠江源头南盘江干流的第一城,多年来,南盘江干流上段水质为劣Ⅴ类。经过城区的两条支流白石江、潇湘江水环境建设是园林城市建设的重要组成部分。通过水环境建设,从保护水源、高效利用水资源以及水生态环境改善等方面,完成地表水、地下水功能区划目标;应用提高江、河、湖泊等水体沿岸绿化率,增强水生态滤污或截污能力;保护水生生物,保护水生态安全,提高生态效益;加强水利风景区建设,优化景观效应;深入开展水环境综合整治工作,打造青山秀水的"生态城市"。

Qiling district, as the central urban area of Qijing, is the first city of Nanpanjiang River in the Pearl River source. The water quality of the upper stream of Nanpanjiang River has been worse than the fifth class of national water quality standard in the past years. The water environmental protection of two subsidiary streams, namely Baishijiang River and Xiaoxiangjiang River, were the important part of garden city construction in Qujing. The measures covering water source protection, high efficient usage of water resources and improvement of water ecology has been carried out to achieve the goals of function zoning of surface water and underground water. The greening rate along the riverbank that could intercept the pollutants and protect the hydrobios and water ecological secure has been increased substantially. The comprehensive wastewater treatments would establish an ecological city with green mountains and clean water.
