现代奥林匹克运动历经百年风雨,已经发展成为世界上历时最久、规模最大、竞技水平最高的体育赛事和文化盛会,同时也成为各主办国展示本国综合实力,提升民族认同感,加强民族凝聚力的最佳平台之一。作为奥运会最核心的视觉元素,奥运会会徽设计不仅要体现一个时代的审美特征,也要充分传达出主办国的民族精神以及文化传统。文章通过对现代夏季奥运会会徽设计中所体现的主办国民族文化元素的解读,试图为艺术设计找到一种责任,其作为一种特殊的文化传播载体,不仅仅要表现时代特色,也要充当继承、创新和传播民族传统文化的角色。

The modern Olympic Games has developed for more than 100 years. It has the longest history. It is the largest scale and the highest level of competitive sports and cultural event in the world. But it also shows the comprehensive strengths of the host countries and enhances the sense of national identity. It has been one of the best platforms to strengthen national cohesion. As the visual elements of the core of the Olympic Games, the Olympic Games emblem design not only reflects the aesthetic characteristics of an era, but also fully convey the host countries＇ national spirit and traditional culture. In this paper, through analyzing the national culture elements of the host countries of summer Olympic Games, the writer want to find a kind of responsibility for art design. Because as a special cultural carrier, it not only shows characteristics of the times, but also acts as the inheritance, innovation and dissemination of national traditional culture character.
