Alarm for dropping underpressure of major switch was displayed at dynamic splitting of the generator parallel operation when the ship berthed on dock. By checking and analysis to the exciting system and voltage regulation loop, the fault was positioned and removed with the analyzing thoughts and data combed on the typical faults of exciting system and pressure-regulating system of the SIEMENS 1FC6 generator.
