明代汪绮石撰写的《理虚元鉴》是一部虚劳专著。全书分为上、下二卷:上卷主要论述虚劳的病因、病机、证候及防治,同时详细论述了肺痨之证;下卷为虚劳治疗方药之宜忌。该书以《黄帝内经》为宗,又兼采诸家之长,并自创一家之言,在虚劳病证治领域有着较高的学术价值和临床指导意义。
