摘要
为了迎合时代发展和市场需求,许多本土酒店的宣传资料也配有英文翻译。随之而来也出现了许多翻译问题。以功能翻译理论为支撑,对企业外宣材料,尤其是酒店公示语翻译错误进行分析,进而探讨正确的译法及改善宾馆酒店业外宣材料译文质量的措施。
In order to meet the need of the market and the age, many local hotels nowadays have bilingual publicity materials, along with which a great number of translation errors appear. Based on functional translation theories, to study the translation of enterprise public signs is of great theoretical and social significance. Therefore, this paper, by conducting a careful study of a local hotel'transla- tion errors, endeavors to find out the reasons resulting in such errors and correct those errors, and then proposes some adviees with the hope of purifying the language environment, establishing good image of enterprises and our city to attract more customers.
