本文探讨了网络热词"任性"在不同语境下的英译,认为翻译离不开"科学务实"和"逻辑明确",有时也要讲究艺术,以发掘词语的真正意义,用恰当的字词翻译出来。

This paper discusses the English translations of the Chinese internet buzzword ＂renxing＂ in different contexts. It is suggested that translation should be scientific and pragmatic, logical and concise, and sometimes even elegant and artistic so as to reveal the true meaning of the original text.
