英语新课改背景下青少年构建社区语言文化生态的服务学习策略

On Service-learning as a Strategy for Youths to Construct the Community Linguistic-cultural Ecology under the New English Curriculum Reform

服务学习整合社区服务和课程学习,适应学生自我发展和社区发展的需要。在英语新课程改革背景下,服务学习既可以是构建英语新课程体系的内容,又可能成为实施英语新课程改革的途径。发挥青少年学生主体作用构建社区语言文化生态的服务学习是英语新课程体系中探索课程结构延伸的策略,是在综合实践活动课程中体现英语素质教育观念的时代要求。文章通过探讨英语新课程改革观念与青少年发挥主体作用构建社区语言文化生态的关系,阐述了服务学习作为英语新课程体系的建构及实施的策略和途径,其中发挥青少年学生主体作用构建社区语言文化生态的服务学习有利于探索大中小学校"一条龙"式的融合综合实践活动课程的英语新课程体系。

Service-learning integrates community service with course study,which meets the need of the development of student individuals and the community. Under the background of New English Curriculum Reform,service-learning can not only be the content in the construction of the New English Curriculum System but also the way to implement New English Curriculum Reform. Based on the execution of youths’ subjective role to construct the community linguistic-cultural ecology,service-learning can be taken as a strategy to extend the curriculum structure in the New English Curriculum System,and a request of the times to highlight English quality education in practicing comprehensive practice and activity curriculum. This paper discusses the relationship between the ideology of New English Curriculum Reform and the youths’ subjective role to construct the community linguistic-cultural ecology. It elaborates service-learning serves as both a strategy and a way in the construction and implementation of the New English Curriculum System. And service-learning to execute the youths’ subjective role to construct the community linguistic-cultural ecology can facilitate the “through-train” New English Curriculum System from primary schools and middle schools to colleges and universities,integrated with the comprehensive practice and activity curriculum.
