Slate was used as decorating material for the external bounding structure of the art museum of Central Academy of Fine Arts. This article introduces the design thinking, structure treatment methods, construction technology control and detail treatment for this non-linear double curved metal roof and curtain of this project, and analyzes the difficulties and key technologies. It points out the building function and artistic effect of this engineering is excellent.
