Development on a Type of Balanced Gas Circuit Wet-mate Connector

气路插拔连接器需要在火箭起飞后供气带载可靠脱落,对脱落的可靠性要求极高。介绍一种采用径向密封平衡接头、中心球锁结构的平衡式气路插拔连接器,其平衡式接头能够降低连接器对接脱落的供气分离力,促进连接器的脱落分离,该连接器具有解锁力小、脱落可靠性高等特点。

The gas circuit wet-mate connector will be released with load after the launch of the rockets. Thus it needs to be highly reliable. A type of gas circuit wet-mate connector with the radial seal joint and central ball-lock structure was developed in this paper. The balanced joint is able to reduce the auto-separating force, which promotes the detachment of the connector. The characteristics of this connector include small unlocking force and high separation reliability.
