摘要
2015年4月9日,中国国际人才交流协会(CAIEP)将2015年"马可·波罗奖"授予诺基亚全球总裁兼首席执行官苏立,以表彰诺基亚在推动国际人才资源全面开发与交流、推动TD-LTE全球商用化方面所起的先锋作用。这是中国政府批准的全国性国际人才交流公共服务机构授予为中国国际人才交流事业做出突出贡献的企业和企业家的最高荣誉。
Rajeev Suri became the CEO of Nokia in May 2014, when the sale of Nokia's phone division to Microsoft Mobile was completed. Nokia had been known in China as a symbol of High Quality mobile, but now Nokia would like to be known as the leading communications and information technology corporation, just like its slogan describes:'Connecting People'. 'Nokia started investment in China in 1992. China hopes TD-LTE will become a worldwide standard in the 4G era. Nokia Chose TDD in 1998, and has the same vision of its TD-LTE standard. We have our global research center in China, and 60% of our employees in China are doing research.' Mr. Suri said.
