新疆外宣英译特色探究——以目的论为视角

Exploration of Translation Characteristics of Xinjiang Publicity Materials——from the Perspective of Skopos Theory

以汉斯·费密尔为代表的(Hans Vermeer)德国功能学派翻译目的论明确提出,译文的质量要满足翻译理念的要求且实现交际目的。新疆作为中国典型的多民族地区之一,是中国外宣的重要环节。文章基于目的论的视角,结合当前新疆外宣翻译现状,探讨了新疆本土外宣英译的特色。

Represented by Hans Vermeer, Skopostheoie is the most important theory in German functional translation studies. It holds that the quality of translation not merely meets the translation concept but also fulfills the ultimate goal of intentional cross-cultural communication. Based on the guidance of Skopostheorie and with the combination of the publicity materials from local C-E translation websites, this paper mainly explores sensitivity of C -E translation which accords with the particularity of Xinjiang local culture; meanwhile, analyzing the characteristics of C-E translation linked to Xinjiang.
