在塔什库尔干县,各民族母语保持良好,对母语感情深厚,也希望掌握多种语言。除汉族外,少数民族多是双语人,至于选择学习、使用哪种语言和该语言的社会功能有着较大关系。维吾尔族以外的少数民族,希望在师资条件许可的情况下,从小学开始直接进行汉语授课。塔吉克族对文字需求非常迫切,因此要进一步加强塔吉克语研究。
