摘要
CxxCxGxG锌指结构域常见于细菌的J蛋白,参与J蛋白与目的多肽之间的相互作用,帮助新生多肽正确折叠使其形成有活性的蛋白质大分子。近来发现,在玉米、花椰菜、烟草及拟南芥等植物中也有基因编码富含CxxCxGxG锌指结构域的蛋白。但是这些植物蛋白与典型的J蛋白不同,缺少其特征性的J结构域和G/F结构域,且其锌指结构域位于羧基端,形成一类特殊的DnaJ-Like锌指蛋白,在植物的光合作用、质体发育与运动、以及抗逆反应中发挥重要作用。本文主要讨论植物DnaJ-Like锌指蛋白家族成员在植物生长发育和抗逆等生理过程中的作用。
CxxCxGxG zinc finger domain extensively exists in J-domain proteins, participating in their pro- tein-protein interactions, especially for helping the folding of nascent polypeptides. A novel group of proteins sharing this zinc finger domain is discovered in recent years from higher plants such as maize, cauliflower, to- bacco and Arabidopsis. Members of this family of proteins do not possess the characteristic J-domain and G/F motif of J-domain proteins, and have their CxxCxGxG zinc finger domains in the C-terminal of corresponding protein sequences. This group of proteins are usually named as DnaJ-like zinc finger proteins, and are found to be involved in photosynthesis, development and motility ofplastids, and also the responses of plants to stresses. Here, we analyzed the Arabidopsis DnaJ-Like zinc finger protein family and summarized recent progresses in the characterization of members in this protein family.
