To reduce surgical trauma is the goal of surgical minimally invasive concept and has gradually penetrated into all aspects of clinical medicine. The progress and development of minimally invasive technology plays an important role in the development and reform of modern surgery. In a sense, instilling the concept of minimally invasive surgery in medical students is particularly important for the development and innovation of surgery in the future. The paper discusses how to train the concept and basic skills of minimally invasive surgery of medical students in hepatobiliary surgery teaching.
