翻译特性视域下汉语文化词语英译探析

Exploration on Chinese-English Activities of Cultural Words from the Perspective of Translation Features

语言的产生伴随着文化的传递,在将中国文化向世界传播的过程中,对于汉语文化词语的准确翻译显得至关重要。翻译活动的社会性、文化性、符号转换性、创造性、历史性都对其翻译产生一定的影响。从翻译视域下的这五个特性入手,对文化词语的英译进行具体探析,能够使翻译活动更加精确地传递文化内涵。

The production of the language is closely related with the spread of the culture. In the course of presenting Chinese culture to the world, the cultural, social, creative, and historical features as well as symbolic transformation in translation all have an effect on the Chinese-English translation activity. It makes the activities of translation transmit the cultural connotation more precisely to explore the Chinese-English activities of cultural words from the perspective of these five translation features.
