Three Basic Forms of the Mass Line and their Dialectical Relationship

坚持群众路线,是密切党群关系、实现群众利益的理论问题,是贯穿于党的各项工作中的根本方法,更是开展群众工作、完成党的历史任务的实践问题。在实现形式上表现为作为理论形态的人民群主体理论、作为方法形态的党的根本工作方法以及作为实践形态的群众工作三种形态。只有牢牢把握群众路线的这三种基本形态,厘清三者的辩证关系,才能准确把握群众路线的内涵实质,增强在工作中执行群众路线的自觉性。

The implementation of the Mass Line is a theoretical issue concerning the relation between the Party and the mass and the benefit of the latter, a basic method of all work of the Party and a practical issue regarding the implementation of the mass work and accomplishment of the historical task of the Party. Its realization forms include the theory of Principal Position of the People as the theoretical form, the basic working method of the Party as the methodological form and the mass work as the practical form. The assurance and clarification concerning such forms is necessary to the understanding of the connotation and nature and to the implementation of the Mass Line.
