城市薄弱初中学生英语学习动机减退影响因素实证研究

摘要 本文以吉林省一所薄弱初中学校的学生为研究对象,采用问卷调查的定量研究方式,探讨了影响城市薄弱初中生英语学习动机减退的因素。结果显示,学习者内在因素是影响薄弱初中生英语学习动机减退的最主要因素;学习者自信心、学习者语言态度、父母辅导则是影响因素中最重要的因子;学习动机减退内在因素上存在显著性别差异。为了解决城市薄弱初中学生英语学习动机减退问题,提高内在兴趣,城市薄弱学校和教师应该双管齐下,通过增加英语文化氛围来弥补学生英语文化接触的弱势,同时,培养学生提高英语学习中的成就动机。 This paper conducted an empirical study on demotivators in urban low-performing junior high school students' English learning. The study shows that the interior factors are the most influential ones affecting their English learning demotivation. The most influential elements of the factors are learners' self- confidence, English learners' language attitude, parents' coaching. Significant differences are found in gender for the interior factors affecting the deomtivation of English learning. Measures should be taken by teachers to create English culture atmosohere for increase of their interior interest.
