扬州新见刘师培早期生平史料考略——以刘葆儒《三叔廿岁前“形势”》一文为考察中心

A Textual Study of the Newly Discovered Text about Liu Shipei's Early Life

刘师培是中国近现代学术史与革命史上难以绕过的人物。他的生命很短暂,但著作宏富,多变的传奇人生,更让人目不暇接。关于刘师培的早期生平,学界已有一些研究成果,惜乎较为简略。最近古城扬州发现了刘师培侄子刘葆儒所著《三叔廿岁前"形势"》一文,为刘师培早期生平研究提供了新的史料。

Liu Shipei is an important figure one cannot ignore in studying Chinese modern history of academics and revolution. While his life was short, he left with us a great mount of works and a leg- endary life record. The existing literature about his early life is quite brief. Recently, an article writ- ten by his nephew, Liu Baoru, was discovered in Yangzhou, that is, Things before Uncle Shipei was 20 Years Old, which offers new materials to the study of Liu Shipei＇s early life.
