摘要
清代阮元以徽派朴学著名,为一代文宗,然其慈善思想与实践在中国古代慈善史上也有相当重要之地位。阮元慈善事业的思想基础是传统民本主义思想和儒家仁学理论,乐善好施的优良家风则是其施政期间从事慈善活动的直接推动力。在"相人偶"的仁学理念和"行义好施"的家风熏染推动下,阮元为政期间关注民生、体恤民瘼,致力于赈灾济贫、保婴育婴、创设慈善公益机构,对古代慈善事业的发展作出了重要贡献。
It is well known that Ruan Yuan is a famous scholar of Confucius classics in the Qing Dy- nasty. However, it is less known that he occupies an important position in Chinese history of charity with his conception and practice of charity. His conception of charity was founded on the traditional people-oriented thoughts and Confucius theory of benevolence. His family tradition of generosity was the direct driving force for his practice of charity. In his administration as a local official, he was con- cerned about the livelihood of the people and set up charitable organizations, contributing a lot to Chi- nese ancient philanthropy.
