改革开放30年,以经济建设为核心,建成工业大国,汽车工业和涂料工业都成为世界第一的产销大国,可是都大而不强。笔者在谈了涂料涂装行业不强的具体表现的基础上,探讨了"涂料、涂装一体化"的理念,阐明了涂料、涂装行业要提高产品的竞争力,做大做强自己,必须改变观念,坚持体制改革,老"涂料、涂装一体化"之路。

In 30 years after the reform and opening, China, focusing on economic development, has become a large industrial, automotive and coatings country, ranking the first all over the world, but such industries are extensive but not powerful. Here, the author firstly introduced specific non-powerful expressions of the coatings · painting industry, discussed the concept of ＂coatings · painting integration＂, clarified that the product competiveness should be improved in the coatings · painting industry, traditional concepts must be changed and the system reform should be insisted on to develop toward the ＂coatings · painting integration＂.
