Referring to the relevant ancient books and documents, the processing methods for Gardenia jasminoides Ellis in successive dynasties were summed up to understand the processing development. And referred to the modem research on the processing of Gardenia jasminoides Ellis, the preparation process, product quality control and pharmacological effects of the processed products of Gardenia jasminoides Ellis were summarized to provide theoretical basis for the clinical application and quality control of the processing and processed products.
