The paper summarized the research progress in the physical and chemical properties, structure and composition, extraction methods, quality control and physiological effects of polysaccharide from Dendrobium officinale, and put forward the future research directions. The review provides scientific and theoretical foundation for the development and utilization of polysaceharide from Dendrobium officinale.
