民办高校通识教育的问题分析及路径选择

Liberal Education in Private-funded Colleges:Problems and Solutions

我国现在推行的人文素质教育中蕴含着教育弥补和德育弥补的意味,与通识教育理念不完全一致。民办高校在办学机制、管理体制、培养模式等方面都受到较强的市场制约。为提升教育质量,民办高校应该回归教育本质,及早进行通识教育筹划。民办高校具有规模小、包袱轻的优势,有利于寻找有效途径加强内涵建设,将市场制约转化为社会驱动。

The focus in our present education on humanistic qualities has the tint of educational and moral compensation, which is not in thorough agreement with the philosophy of liberal education. Private-funded colleges are in many aspects strongly constrained by the market. To promote their educational quality, they should set up for liberal education as soon as possible. With their small scales and light burdens, they can more easily find effective ways to strengthen their connotation construction and convert the market constraint into social drive.
