摘要
美国新品格教育是一个社会、家庭、学校共同参与的品格培育体系,得到了来自政府、社区、宗教机构等方面的支持。新品格教育以社会核心价值为指导,以生活化为导向,旨在革新传统品格教育脱离现实的弊端,通过社会生活实践活动引导学生形成良好的品格,指导其在社会生活中做正确的事情。借鉴美国新品格教育运动的成功经验,我国中小学道德教育不仅需要德育教学方式、德育内容的改革,更需要让学生走出课堂,参与社会的德育生活实践,培养社会需要的道德素质。在这一过程中,需要政府、学校、社区和家庭的共同参与。
The new American character education is a system of character training involving the society, families and schools, which has won the support from the government, communities and religious organizations. It is life-oriented and guided by the core social values with the aim of correcting the shortcoming of traditional character education separating from the reality as well as directing students to form good characters through social life activities and guiding them to do correct things in the social life. By referring to the successful experience of the new American character education, the Chinese moral education in the primary and middle schools not only need the reformation of teaching styles and contents of moral education, but encourage students to go out of the classrooms to participate in social moral practice to train their moral qualities required by the society. In this process the combined participation of the government, schools, communities and families is necessary.
