In order to ensure the coal resources can be orderly development in the coal mining process, we need to make geological survey before coal mining. So the geological survey plays an important role in coal mining. The importance of geological prospecting in the process of coal mining was described, and a series of improvement measures of geological survey were proposed in order to provide a theoretical basis for efficient coal mining.
